Restoring a Hard Disk with Recovery CD
You can restore a hard disk or a partition from an image file stored on another hard disk, partition, or external media using the Restore Wizard from the Recovery CD. To restore from image files, insert the Recovery CD into your CD drive, and then restart your computer from CD drive.
Step 1: In the Keriver Image Recovery Main window, click 'Start->Restore From Image'.
Step 2: In the left panel, select the image file from which to restore.
In the right panel, information of the selected image file will be displayed.
Then, click 'Next'.
Step 3: Select the source disk contained within the selected image file from which you'll restore.
In the left panel, information of the selected hard disk will be displayed.
Then, click 'Next'.
Step 4: Select the destination disk drive to which the backup data will be written.
In the left panel, information of the selected hard disk will be displayed.
Then, click 'Next'.
Step 5: In this window, you can move or resize the target partition's location or size by clicking the 'Resize/Move' button.
Step 6: Clicking 'Resize/Move' opens the Resize/Move window, where you can modify size or location of the selected partition by using mouse dragging and the scrolling button.
Step 7: Confirm the restore settings and click 'Next' to start the Restore process.
Step 8: After the Restore procedure is completed, the 'Cancel' button will become the 'Done' button. Click on it to finish.
